These are known by several names including...

Shemagh, Arab Head scarf, PLO scarf, Afghan scarf, Desert scarf. Arafat Scarf, Biker Scarf and more recently SAS / military / Afghani scarf.

They remain true to the original, high quality design. These are 100% cotton and the pattern is woven.
  These shemaghs are nice quality, deservedly popular, and measure approx 110cm x 110cm (1.1 metre x 1.1 metre) / 44" inches square
What more can I say? It does what it says on the tin...  Extremely versatile.  Can be used as a headscarf, wrap, drape, necker, facemask, headband.. but I'm sure you know all that. No doubt I'm not the only one who wears one whilst riding a motorbike...
